The Installation

Paul Varonakis was the project manager for this installation. He met with the owners to discuss possible solutions for their heating and cooling problems. This setup will allow supplemental heating in the winter through the Mitsubishi Electric ductless heat pump and unmatched cooling comfort for the bedroom in the summer.

The indoor floor mounted ductless AC unit was installed in the bedroom above the garage. This single unit would replace the window AC units the family had been using and provide heating in the winter, as well. Because the family chose a ductless system, no construction was needed to add ductwork to the home. Instead, thin piping for the indoor AC was run through the walls, like electrical wire, to the outdoor condenser. This system allowed the family to find the relief they craved without the need for an extensive renovation project.

The Mitsubishi  ductless AC is controlled with a single remote so that the owners can adjust the temperature with the press of a button from the comfort of their bed. This Mitsubishi ductless mini split system will also monitor the humidity of the room and adjust accordingly, so the family will never have to spend another summer feeling sticky and hot in their own home.
